It is such a vicious cycle if you don’t have good self-esteem and you don’t know your healthy boundaries. When you let people step all over you, that’s basically you hurting yourself so you can’t trust yourself. I was there once, but practicing yoga made me pay attention to how I feel. Being aware of what I felt helped me to recognize what is ok and what is NOT ok or it’s gone too far. By doing so, you start to notice what others feel and that’ll prevent you from stepping into their boundaries. That will allow us to keep healthy relationships with each other.
